Millwright Mechanic

Job Description:

On Time Fab, Inc is looking for highly skilled Mechanical Millwrights with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within an industrial facility. Applicants must have the ability to receive, follow and implement instructions given to them from their immediate Supervisor. Safety is a priority and applicants must follow all OSHA standard safety regulations. Job duties listed below are a requirement for this position and subject to change based on the specific needs of each individual project.

Job Duties:

• Maintain, install, repair, and assemble machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprint, and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Diagnose, make repairs.
• Use of hoisting equipment, (Rigging, chain falls, come-a-long, fork truck, and signaling of operator).
• Knowledge of use with hand tools, power tools, precision tools, shop equipment, and man lifts.
• Knowledge of print reading for fabrication and Installation.
• Use of cutting torch, welding, and lay-out.
• Air tools, familiar with hydraulics, piping.
• Use of PPE, LOTO, safe work ethics, hot work, drug free and good communication skills.
• Able to work in any condition. Extreme hot, cold, confined spaces, tight areas, kneeling.
• Lift up to 50lbs. climb ladders, stairs.
• Possess math skills.
• Alignment of shafts, couplings, machinery, leveling and anchoring of various types of machinery and equipment.
• Able to work 12 hr shifts or more as conditions warrants.
• Perform other duties assigned or required by supervisor.
• Hold an OSHA 10 Card.
• Must be punctual for Job Start times at Customer Site.
• Company requires a minimum personal tool list.
• Jobs usually within 50 miles from Company’s main office.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Required – Clear Driver’s license
• Required – OSHA 10 Hour
• Must Pass Drug Test
